Feedback on my Wordpress vs JAMstack column
This week I got some great comments on Twitter and LinkedIn about my column, WordPress Co-Founder Matt Mullenweg Is Not a Fan of JAMstack.
Zach Leatherman, builder of popular static site generator Eleventy, started a good thread:
Instead of A versus B this article *should’ve* mentioned using @WordPress as a headless CMS to drive your super speedy Jamstack site. A plus B!

Read through all the comments.
I also liked this new perspective (to me at least) by Aram Zucker-Scharff:
I mean the shift is explicitly not for developers imo, people using JAMStack for professional reasons usually are doing so because it shifts cpu use in a world where hosting costs have shifted for more and more people from monthly to by cpu minute.

On LinkedIn, Victor Coisne (VP Marketing at Strapi, an open source headless CMS), had this to say:
I think its also important to mention that for a headless CMS like Strapi JAMstack is only one use case but we are seeing many others in the field :)
Last but not least, do check out this thread by Ohad Eder-Pressman — and in particular the wager he’s entered into with WordPress chief Matt Mullenweg:
